I was so naive to think that having a baby wouldn't take that much more of my time. Boy was I wrong! But it's okay, because I love every single second I get to spend with my daughter. With that being said, I do have a growing list of things that I need to blog. In the meantime, here's a sneak peak of Roslyn and Donny's engagement session. Man we've been so lucky to have beautiful weather in Houston this October!
Madeline can't quite sit up on her own yet, but she tries! I got her a Bumbo and it's supposed to help her sit upright, but sometimes she just can't do it. My baby tries though!

I met up with Nicole and Jeremy a few weeks ago in downtown Houston for their engagement shoot. What I loved about photographing them is that they're not afraid to be sweet and goofy with each other, so the session was all smiles all day!

If you know anything about Houston weather, you know that we have some pretty hot and humid summers here. Not only that, but the heat and humidity spills way into the fall season. Well today was one of those rare and beautiful days where the skies were beautiful and the temperature was in the cool 70's.
Edmond and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and spend it outdoors at the Sugar Land Town Square. I brought my camera to take some pictures of Madeline, but instead, my hubby got some shots of me and our baby :) After looking at the shots I realized that I rarely get pictures taken with my baby because I'm always taking them! I also thought...my hubby did an awesome job!

I love my job. I love being a photographer. One thing that makes my job different from most is not having co-workers. So that I have social interaction with like-minded people in my career, I make time to hang out with the Pack. We're basically a group of people who like to talk about what we love...photography! So far the Pack consists of myself, Julie, Jenna Dee, Kimberly and Jocelyn. If you love photography like we do and are ever interested in joining us for one of our get togethers, just shoot me an email! For our last meeting we met up at Jenna Dee's house with plans to shoot in the evening without flash. After a couple hours of talking shop, we headed over to the City Centre.
Many thanks to Julie for being our super hot model!!! Here are some images that I liked from the shoot. I thought I'd try some different processing with these.
After a while Julie wanted to try some shooting so I handed her my camera and tried to play model too.
So what's up with Madeline? I know you're wondering. Well she's still loving her fingers!
