I couldn't let all of September go by without showing you what I've been up to! You know the more I shoot weddings and engagement and bridal sessions, the more I think to myself, "Wow, how did I get here? Doing what I LOVE to do? Sharing with my clients some of their most treasured moments?" I love my clients. I miss them after the wedding. I hope you enjoy this post, because I had sooo much fun shooting every single image :)

It's almost the end of August, meaning my summer weddings are coming to a close. Of course, for Houstonians, it doesn't mean the end of the summer heat! What a great summer it has been :) Every now and then I stop and take a moment to think about how lucky I am that I get to do what I love for a living! I meet the greatest people, truly. I'm talking really great, genuine people who take a chance on me and trust me to photograph one of the most important day of their lives. I hope you enjoy my sneak peeks at some of these great people I'm talking about :)

Kim and Francis are already married. I photographed their wedding back in April. But before I show you their wedding, I have to show you their adorable engagement session! I still remember shooting this session in downtown like it was yesterday! I was there to have fun, they were there to have fun, it was perfect! What more could a photographer ask for :) Stay tuned for their wedding images this week! I know what you're thinking...they're so cute together aren't they?

Diana and Ernie had a gorgeous wedding at The Alden Hotel. The very first time I photographed these two was during their engagements. Diana was a little shy, but very giggly. I give Ernie the credit for making her smile. But man, on their wedding day, there were no nerves, no doubts, and certainly now frowns as they walked down the aisle. It was just sweetness and love :)
They were married under one of the prettiest chuppah's I've seen. It was assembled by Darryl & Co and it had all glass columns and tons of romantic candellight. Afterwards the room was exquisitely transformed into a fantastic reception. Thanks to LG Entertainers for the creative uplighting and great music. It all made shooting this wedding a treat! One really great part about the wedding is that it went off without any hiccups, delays or disasters. I totally attribute that to Samantha of Soiree Bliss and her team.

Katie and Cody were married earlier this year. It started off with a very sweet and emotional ceremony at the Chapel of St. Basil followed by a very fun reception at The Alden Hotel. Don't you love this first image? It's one of my favorites. When I first saw the wreaths hanging outside the chapel, I had to make sure I let Katie know how cute they were. Well guess what? She made them! Lots of thought and creativity went into her wedding details. She made her cake topper, AND designed a logo and invitations! Katie and Cody danced all night and their friends and family partied along side them non-stop!
