Wow! The past few months have been packed! And I've been so greedy with my images haven't I? Well now that I'm taking some time off before I have my baby girl, I'm going to use my waiting time wisely and get these weddings blogged! Although I won't be shooting weddings again until mid August, I'm currently available for consultations if you're interested in booking me - or if you just want to hang out, chit chat, talk weddings, talk tv, books...I love meeting people ;) I've got some really great specials for the Bridal Extravaganza in July that I'm offering in advance to couples that book me before then. Keep checking the blog for announcements on the details of my specials. In the mean time I'm leaving you with some teasers of some fantastic weddings to come! Enjoy :)

I love the picture of Stacey and Brian! Could you find out where she got that dress from! Is the baby her yet? This is Mona I saw you at Mariann b-day party. One of the ones that got chucked in the pool! LOL

Nancy and Jose met up with me a few weeks ago in downtown for their engagement session. They are a very passionate couple who are totally in love. When I got to their session, Nancy was a little nervous and Jose was just quiet and stiff. Oh my goodness...it only took a kiss in front of the camera, a cuddle and some serious eye-to-eye contact for them to just naturally show me how in love they are. Enjoy!

Susan and Don were married last month. It was a clear, blue sky, sunny kinda day, but boy was it hot! They were real troopers though when we went outside for some fun shots with their wedding party. They were also totally awesome when they had to stand outside the ballroom for a long time and take pictures with every guest. But before the party they had a beautiful ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. I love that church. So much light and beautiful architecture. Plus it's where I got married so my opinion is a little biased about that. Ha ha ha! Their super duper fun reception was at the Kim Son ballroom in downtown. You know what I love about weddings at Kim Son? Seven...course...meals. And the food is always soooo yummy. Plus it never fails, every wedding I shoot at a Kim Son ballroom is always a spectacular party with drinks and dancing all night. This one was no exception! I have so many images that I loved from this wedding that I thought I'd put them in a slideshow. Just look at their faces in every image of them. You can't deny the love and happiness there :) Enjoy!

I'm in the midst of getting some great weddings to blog about. In the meantime I wanted to share some fun pics that my friend Julie and I got at a wedding she helped me shoot last night. Julie had a great blog post a few weeks ago about our "Pack." It's nothing fancy, just a few of us girls with a great common interest - our love for photography! One of the great things about our "Pack" is that we learn from each other and help each other out when needed. This photobooth was a lot of fun and a big hit with the guests. It was provided by Texas Photobooth. It was a nice change from the usual break I take at a wedding. Sometimes I just sit in a quiet place for like 5 minutes to recharge myself, but this break was so much more fun!

Hahaha!!! I just LOVE it! I am so glad you both enjoyed yourselves at our wedding and felt comfortable enough to get in the photo booth and let loose. We laughed at the pictures and thought you both had 'style'. Thanks again for everything!

I didn't meet Patricia and Guido until their wedding day. They're both doctors that live in the Netherlands, but Patricia's family lives in Houston. I can't imagine what it's like planning a wedding while you live outside of the country, but these two made it happen! If I had to say one word that immediately pops into my head when I think of Patricia, it's "smiles." The entire day Patrica was gleaming with happiness and her contagious smile affected everyone around her. And whenever I saw Guido look at his new bride, I could see how much he cherished her.

Enjoy!
